Fall Family Portraits!
Fall is here! Spokane is known to have all four seasons and beautiful local parks, it’s the perfect time of year to have family pictures done outside. The shoot only took about an hour and a half before the sundown. Before Nina got there, I walked around looking for beautiful light and backdrops while enjoying the ducks and scenery. We talked about her ideas and put it all together. Malcolm, her son didn’t want to sit still for pictures, he was ready to run around and be wild, but with some patience, we got some smiles, as well as some funny bloopers. Keep an eye out for some funny out takes coming soon!
Nick & Kiana
I did Nick and Kiana’s engagement photos last year and I am blessed to be able to shoot their wedding on October 18th. One of my favorite parts of doing photography is being able to develop a relationship with people and doing many sessions for them!

Good afternoon everyone, one thing I have learned from life is that to be happy, you have to work on yourself and work toward your own goals while still being compassionate to others. If you live for things or other people you will never be happy.
Blake is competing in the Night of Champions, he has improved from his last competition, that’s what it’s about, always improving.
Everyone has bad days and good days, don’t let the bad days keep you down.

Airbrushing
Learned another new airbrush technique today. I also did some dodging and burning. I have a ways to go to perfect that.

As a photographer and a human, I am always striving to improve. Today, I learned some new light techniques. 
Alexandria, Coeur D’Alene, August 9th
It was hot near the lake on Saturday, it was about 5 p.m. when we met up at the skate park. When we got down to the beach it was pretty crowded, but lucky us, there was a nice open spot for us to work! I asked her if she was comfortable in front of the crowd and she was a natural, though only having done a shoot once. After walking around the beach, getting splashed during a shot, we headed to a perfect spot to park her BMW. We had an hour to sunset. More good luck, there was no one in our way at the turnout! She changed a few times, did some inside shots, showing of the hot red interior of the car, outside with the headlights on. All the while people, young and old, driving by oogling at the sight. Perfect timing, we got the shots in front of the sunset! The shoot was complete and a success!
